As a Security Officer Entry Control in Salina, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and use teamwork, integrity, and innovation to help create a welcoming and well-managed environment.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and/or document arrivals and departures to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe activity related to deliveries, pickups, and/or after-hours access, and report unusual, unauthorized, or suspicious activity according to site-specific security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
