Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - Now Hiring

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:

OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry experience; IV management, Management of various tubes/drains (JP drain, wound vacs, NG tubes, peg tubes), Foley cath care, post op care, medication administration
• Could possibly have non-titrating gtts such as Heparin, IVIG

Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN). NURSYS.

Special Requests:

• Can we approve time off? Manager approval needed
• DECLINE if more than 7 days of RTO-do not send for manager approval
• May only request (1) weekend of RTO per 13-week contract

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: every other
• Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory
• No call
• Holiday Expectations: will work 2/3 holidays

Floating Requirements: Will float as often as is needed – within scope of practice and below

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months
