United Talent is immediately hiring a Medical Assistant for a hospital in the Charleston area.
Job Duties:
- Checking patients in, BP and Weight documentation in patient charts
- Assisting with verifying benefits and scheduling patient tests
- Helping with referral management
- Assisting with phone calls
Pay and Shift: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Pay is $13 – 15 per hour based on experience.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Data management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with people with various levels of medical knowledge in both written and verbal forms
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Computer software proficiency
