Industrial Painter
Toledo Ohio
2nd Shift: 5p-330a (Fridays 12p-6p if required to work OT
*Will Train on 1st Shift
$18 - $20/hr - based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming in preparation for painting
- Apply paint, lacquer, or other protective coatings to industrial products and equipment using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure consistent and even coverage of paint or coatings
- Perform touch-ups and minor repairs to painted surfaces as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality targets
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in the use of painting tools and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Forklift Experience a plus
Working Conditions
This position is based in a controlled, indoor manufacturing environment. The work may involve standing for extended periods, lifting and moving materials, and exposure to paint fumes and other chemicals. A flexible schedule, including occasional overtime, may be required to meet production demands.
