Duties

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Repair or replace appliances, air conditioning units, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Assist with construction or renovation projects by installing new systems or upgrading existing infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
• Lead or support team members during complex repairs or installations to promote efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to repair equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an energetic approach to tackling maintenance challenges.
