Job Description
Urology Locum Opportunity
A healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for ongoing 24-hour call coverage. This hospital-based assignment offers a broad scope of urologic care, access to robotic surgery, and support from an established clinical team.
Compensation: Regular: $3250 per 24 hours, 24-Hour Call: $3,260/day, Call Back: $445

July 13–17 (potentially through July 20)
September 21–27

Hospital-based
24-hour beeper call coverage
Level I Trauma Center
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide inpatient urology call coverage
Evaluate and manage emergency urologic consults
Perform operative and procedural urology care as needed
Supervise advanced practice providers when applicable
Participate in hospital-based patient management and follow-up
Patient Population
Primarily adult patients (18+)
Rare pediatric emergency torsion cases may present during call coverage

Surgical & Procedural Scope
Candidates should be comfortable performing most general urology procedures, including:
Cystoscopy
Ureteroscopy
Prostate procedures
Lithotripsy
Orchiopexy
Vasectomy
Additional experience with:
Vasectomy reversals (preferred but not required)
Robotic surgery (available but not required)
Penile implants (occasional cases)
Facility Resources
Multiple operating rooms available
Robotic surgery platform
Cystoscopy equipment and towers
Injection capabilities
Volume
Average callback volume: 2–6 hours per day
Typical clinic/procedural volume: 24–28 patients per day when applicable
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Active state medical license preferred for expedited credentialing
Active DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
New graduates will be considered
Credentialing
Approximately 90-day credentialing process
Temporary privileges may be available for qualified providers with a clean file
Ideal Candidate
Comfortable with comprehensive urologic call coverage
Experienced in inpatient and operative urology
