Hiring: F/T Machine Adjuster / Mechanics

Location: Marietta, GA

Hours:

1st shift 6:00am - 6:00pm (Rotating Schedule) - $25.00/hour

2nd shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am (Rotating Schedule) - $25.00/hour

Overview:

We’re seeking **skilled Machine Adjusters and Mechanics **to join our production team in Marietta! This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals with experience in **machine setup, adjustments, and maintenance **who take pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring equipment runs efficiently, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining product quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust converting and production equipment for safe, efficient operation
  • Perform start-ups, close-tolerance adjustments, and routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production machinery
  • Inspect products regularly to ensure quality standards are met and minimize waste
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding potential issues affecting quality or safety
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and production records
  • Keep machines and work areas clean and organized (sweep, remove scrap, etc.)
  • Assist with training operators and providing coverage as needed

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical or production equipment maintenance (Machine Adjuster, Mechanic, or related role)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure, dial caliper, and micrometer accurately
  • Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems preferred
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Welding or fabrication experience a plus
  • Flexibility with shift assignment and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, lifting, twisting)
  • Work 12-hour rotating shifts in a manufacturing environment exposed to warehouse temperatures
  • Comfortable working around large machinery and moving equipment
