Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing staffing agency team. This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and promoting workforce solutions to companies across multiple industries. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.

This role plays a critical part in expanding our client base and helping businesses solve staffing challenges through customized workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person visits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, HR departments, and hiring managers
  • Identify client staffing needs and recommend appropriate workforce solutions
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and contract terms
  • Collaborate with recruiters and operations staff to ensure successful placements and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communication, and pipeline updates within CRM systems
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients to generate repeat business
  • Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Represent the company professionally at networking events, job fairs, and community functions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous Outside Sales Experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Comfortable making cold calls and conducting outside sales visits
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Experience

  • Staffing agency sales experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience working with healthcare, industrial, clerical, or skilled labor accounts
  • Existing local business relationships are a plus
