Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing staffing agency team. This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and promoting workforce solutions to companies across multiple industries. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
This role plays a critical part in expanding our client base and helping businesses solve staffing challenges through customized workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, email outreach, and in-person visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, HR departments, and hiring managers
- Identify client staffing needs and recommend appropriate workforce solutions
- Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and site visits
- Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and contract terms
- Collaborate with recruiters and operations staff to ensure successful placements and client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communication, and pipeline updates within CRM systems
- Follow up consistently with prospects and existing clients to generate repeat business
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activity
- Represent the company professionally at networking events, job fairs, and community functions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of previous Outside Sales Experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable making cold calls and conducting outside sales visits
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Preferred Experience
- Staffing agency sales experience
- B2B sales experience
- Experience working with healthcare, industrial, clerical, or skilled labor accounts
- Existing local business relationships are a plus
