Location: East Side – Indianapolis, IN
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $26.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:
We are hiring experienced Laser Machine Operators to run Mazak and Trumpf laser cutting machines. This position involves precise work with thin-gauge stainless steel (14–20 gauge), where accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Laser cutting and welding produce exceptionally clean, precise results with minimal heat-affected zones — ideal for high-finish and delicate applications.
If you have experience in aerospace, medical, electronics, or polished stainless steel fabrication, you’ll feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power up and operate Mazak and/or Trumpf laser cutting machines
- Load and securely position stainless steel and other materials (typically 14g–20g)
- Load and verify cutting programs
- Confirm and adjust cutting parameters as needed for optimal precision and quality
- Monitor laser performance and part quality throughout the job run
- Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and clean edge quality
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 2+ years of experience operating Mazak or Trumpf laser machines
- Brake Press Experience
- Strong understanding of laser cutting parameters for thin stainless materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders
- Familiarity with laser welding concepts is a plus
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to fine detail
- Dependability and ability to work independently or as part of a team
