What You’ll Do:
- Recruit, screen, onboard, and support volunteers and interns, including background checks, orientation, and ongoing engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, businesses, and community organizations to expand volunteer and internship opportunities
- Develop and execute outreach initiatives that increase awareness of programs and encourage community involvement
- Collaborate with leadership to identify organizational needs and align volunteer and intern placements with agency goals
- Support talent acquisition efforts through job fairs, campus recruiting events, and candidate outreach activities
- Partner with internal teams on fundraising initiatives, agency events, branding efforts, and in-kind donation programs
- Maintain accurate volunteer and intern records, track engagement metrics, and prepare monthly reports
- Identify and implement new strategies to strengthen community partnerships and grow volunteer participation
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
- 2+ years of relevant work, internship, volunteer, or leadership experience
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Positive, energetic, and engaging personality with a passion for community impact
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations
- Experience with recruiting, volunteer coordination, workforce development, or educational institution partnerships is a plus
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
