1st Shift Edgeband Operator

Job Location: Bristol, Indiana
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (5:45 AM – 2:15 PM)

Key Responsibilities
• Operate edgebanding machinery safely and efficiently according to job specifications
• Read and interpret part labels and edging summary sheets
• Load edgebanding materials and adjust machine settings as required
• Scan QR codes and process parts using a one-piece flow system
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure consistency and product accuracy
• Inspect finished parts for defects and proper edging quality
• Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure proper functionality at all times
• Monitor equipment such as dust collection systems and follow startup procedures
• Assist other departments as needed to support production flow
• Follow all safety procedures and industrial safety standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Lift 20–40 lbs repetitively throughout the shift

Requirements
• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred
• High attention to detail and strong quality control skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attendance
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Coachable with willingness to learn new machinery and processes
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Woodworking or manufacturing experience is a plus
