Job Description

If so, we’d love to meet you! We are a Licensed Shared Housing Establishment under IDPH Assisted Living, operating two residential homes while offering Geriatric Management and Advocacy services. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the communities we serve, and we’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated CNA or DSP to join our team.
What You’ll DoAs a CNA or DSP, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our residents and ensuring they receive the care they need. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as grooming, bathing, and mobility.
- Prepare Dinner with Meal Prep done night prior- Set up family style for Staff member to join.
- Professional communicator and critical thinker.
- Quick learner and the ability to adapt to new trainings.
- Research and development takes place with in our homes in regards to best care practices for demographic we care for. We also study demographic we employe and look for new process and procedurers to improve over all care enviroment for other settings similar to ours.
- Monitoring residents’ health and reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.
- Supporting residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Collaborating with our team to create a safe and welcoming environment.
- Upholding all IDPH requirements and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
We’re seeking a dedicated professional who meets the following qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years working with 6 or more geriatric residents.
- Certifications: CPR certification and eligibility for the Health Registry.
- Requirements: Must meet all IDPH requirements to work in this setting.
- Skills: Compassionate, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality care.
