As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison between our agency and our valued commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision, expertise, and exceptional attention to detail. This role requires a thorough understanding of various commercial insurance products and the ability to navigate complex coverage scenarios while building lasting client relationships.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring all client needs are addressed proactively and efficiently
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and expertise
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, policy reviews, and proactive risk management consultations
- Conduct annual policy reviews with clients to assess changing business needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information for policy renewals, new business applications, and policy modifications
- Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other policy-related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, ensuring all coverage terms, conditions, and endorsements align with client requirements
- Maintain comprehensive and organized client files, including all correspondence, policy documents, and account notes in accordance with agency standards
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, coverage summaries, and policy comparisons to clients
- Monitor policy expiration dates and initiate renewal processes in a timely manner to ensure continuous coverage
