Nurse Practicioner

A medical practice is currently looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner to perform thorough physical examinations, evaluate and manager acute and chronic medical conditions, prescribe appropriate medications, and formulate detailed patient care plans. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including comprehensive history-taking and systematic physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, and complex health conditions with clinical precision.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic investigations, including laboratory tests and radiological studies.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and available treatment modalities.
- Collaborate efficiently within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of medical records and all relevant clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited institution.
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure and board certification as required by jurisdictional regulations.
- Extensive clinical expertise and knowledge of primary care practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to function autonomously and collaboratively within a healthcare environment.
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, left, and assist patients as needed
- Clean Criminal Background Record
- Knowledge of procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
- Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communicational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Ability to handle working in a fast paced environment
Location: Thomasville, GA
Pay Range: $52.00 - $59.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
