About the Role

The Accounts Payable Manager is a strategic finance leader responsible for transforming end‑to‑end AP operations within a complex, high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role drives process standardization, automation, and organizational change to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and elevate team performance. The position owns AP as a value‑adding function, delivering measurable impact on working capital, vendor relationships, and operational scalability.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead redesign of the full AP lifecycle (invoice intake through payment) to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce cycle time, and improve accuracy
  • Implement and optimize automation solutions (e‑invoicing, OCR, workflow tools, ERP enhancements)
  • Establish scalable processes to support multi‑site or shared services environments
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing AP team; address skill gaps and elevate accountability
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Procurement, Operations, IT, and Finance leadership to align on priorities and drive adoption
  • Drive cultural and operational change within the AP function, transitioning from transactional processing to proactive, performance‑driven operations
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with broader finance transformation goals
  • Define, implement, and monitor AP performance metrics
  • Establish KPI dashboards and reporting
  • Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks, track improvements, and support decision‑making

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required); MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • CPA, CMA, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification(s) strongly preferred
  • 8–12+ years of progressive AP or accounting experience, including leadership in high‑volume environments
  • Demonstrated success leading end‑to‑end AP transformation and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience managing teams (including large or distributed teams) and driving performance improvement across multiple sites/locations
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and AP automation tools
  • Proven ability to implement KPI‑driven management and data‑led decision making
  • Strong understanding of three‑way match, purchase order processes, and inventory‑related AP
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).

  • Data‑driven, results‑oriented approach with a focus on measurable outcomes
