Role PurposeAs the Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day activities of our branch service and parts departments. You are responsible for ensuring machines are sale-ready and repaired to high standards, while managing a team focused on sales growth, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership (LMA): Lead, manage, and hold your team (Parts Manager, Service Writer, Technicians, Yard Associate) accountable.
Departmental Oversight: Drive sales and profit goals for both the Parts and Service departments.
Facility Management: Maintain the physical facility to meet OSHA, EPA, and 5S (85% score) standards.
Customer Excellence: Handle issue escalations and ensure all services align with company values and machine standards.
Support Operations: Coordinate with Sales, Rental, and PSSR teams regarding machine availability and status.
Your performance will be measured by:
Net Parts Income (vs. budget)
Net Service Income (vs. budget)
Store 5S Score (85% target)
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; 4-year BA/BS degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 6years of managerial experience in a related field.
Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L, balance sheets), proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and superior communication skills.
Physical: Ability to stand/walk the shop floor and regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Travel: Limited travel (approx. 15-20 days/year) for meetings and training.
