Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist position is available in Sonora, California. Candidates will operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, position and instruct patients, adjust equipment settings, and ensure safety during procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Sonora, California
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification, Radiologic Technician (RT) license in California, Fluoroscopy license in California within 6 months of hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider
- Essential Functions: Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment and examination rooms. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams. Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information and reports relevant findings to physicians. Verifies exams on PACS and performs other related duties as assigned.
