Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a certified MRI Technologist in Ogden, Utah, to perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations. The role involves ensuring proper patient identification, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Ogden, Utah
- Shift: Nights (4-10 hour shifts, 7 on/7 off schedule) with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: One year of MRI experience; ARRT registered technologist or ARRT MR approved; Utah State Licensure in order to administer radiology (RX); Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association) certification; valid Utah State License
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information: Post-hire expectation to meet departmental intravenous (IV) certification competency within three months. Completion of the controlled substance module and initial moderate sedation module within six months of hire, where applicable.
- Clinical Skills: Includes MRI cross-sectional anatomy, anatomical positioning, contrast administration, sterile techniques, MRI equipment operation, electronic imaging, troubleshooting, magnet operation, cryogen management, gradient amplifiers, safety protocols, and documentation.
