Job Summary:
This position is for a Sterile Processing Technician located in Bethpage, New York. The role involves working at a busy off-site reprocessing center that provides sterile processing services for multiple healthcare facilities, including emergency services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Bethpage, NY
- Schedule: 07:00:00 AM 03:00:00 PM, with shifts of 8 hours and a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Sterile processing certification (CRCST or CSPD) that does not expire during the assignment; 2 years of certified experience in a tertiary setting, or 1 year of certified experience with 4 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience in a tertiary setting; Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds; Manual dexterity; Ability to stand, bend, lift and/or reach for extended periods; Effective communication skills in English (verbally and in writing); Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
- Additional Information:
- Every other weekend required
- Scrubs provided must be laundered at the facility
- Shoes, jewelry, hair, and beard must be covered
- No nail polish
