Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Marquette, MI, requiring 2+ years of experience and every other weekend availability.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) setting within a 225-bed specialty care hospital
- Facility specialties include Heart & Vascular, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required
- AHA certifications required (BLS at minimum; AHA-issued cards only)
- 2+ years of RN emergency department experience required
- BSN preferred
- Candidate's permanent address must be 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is held bi-weekly
- Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- Hospital is located in Marquette, MI — the largest community in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and home to Northern Michigan University
