Job Summary:
The position of Ultrasonographer Echo is available in Orange Park, Florida. Candidates will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures, including TTE (Transthoracic Echocardiography) and TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography), with a focus on structural heart imaging. The role requires the ability to operate specific equipment such as the GE E95 and adhere to the facilitys documentation and scheduling policies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Orange Park, Florida
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities for at least one night per week and one weekend per month.
- Required Qualifications: Valid CCI or ARDMS certification, licensure, and certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS). A minimum of 0 years of experience is required, though candidates with 1 or more years of relevant experience are preferred. Candidates must have experience with TTE/TEE, structural heart imaging, and specifically with using a Pedoff probe for aortic stenosis (AS) and valvular workup.
- Additional Information: No. of positions available: 1. The role involves working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
