Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatric (RT PEDS) at the location in Sonora, California. This role involves providing respiratory care services for pediatric and adult patients, including assessments, administering therapies, and assisting with specialized procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Sonora, California
  • Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors). Three years' technical experience preferred. Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) is required in California, Oregon, and Hawaii. A Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required in California. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required from an approved vendor. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification is preferred. Registered or Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care is required. AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification is required. AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates will perform assessments, administer therapies, assist in specialized procedures such as bronchoscopies, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety protocols. The role includes documentation, equipment maintenance, and training support.
