Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) / Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Technologist position available in Mission Viejo, California. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures within a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers flexibility with shift times, and the work environment requires adaptability and clinical competence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Shift hours are variable, with start times ranging from 0700 to 0900, employing 4x10s or 5x8s shifts as preferred by the organization, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification, at least 6 months of positron emission tomography (PET) experience, and one year of nuclear medicine experience are required. Candidates must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and be prepared to disclose license and background check results upfront.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience, especially with EPIC and Siemens systems, highly preferred.
  • Additional Information: Local radius of 50 miles; local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate. Candidates must have a recent California fire card (within last 30 days). References covering one year (or six months for Certified Nursing Assistants) within the last three years are required. Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state. Candidates must be willing to work three of the five major holidays.
  • Other Conditions: Background and license clearance are mandatory with no open license hits allowed. The return policy permits re-employment after three months.
