Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Tech with Radiology experience to join our team in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of electrophysiology and have relevant certifications. This position does not require weekend shifts or a block schedule.
Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year experience in Electrophysiology Tech.
- Must hold valid ARRT Radiology Tech certification and OBMI License.
- Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS.
- Proficiency in entering data into charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Electrophysiology Studies
- Arrhythmia Induction
- Baseline Measurements
- Cardiac Ablation
- Conduction Studies
- Electrophysiology Evaluation
- Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
- Pacemaker Insertion
This position is based in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab within a Short Term Acute Care facility. Our hospital is a teaching institution with a total of 536 staff beds.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites.
- Maintain a sterile field through effective scrubbing procedures.
- Utilize Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose) as needed.
- Perform patient care and adhere to infection control protocols while ensuring a safe environment.
Collaborative support from departments such as Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams will be available.
Required Patient Age GroupsFocus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
