Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Henry Ford.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have at least 1+ years of strong recent ST experience.

Required Credentials: - High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Credentials: - Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.

Unit Details: - Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, responsible for handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during general surgical procedures. - Ensures understanding of the assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the assigned surgical team. - Provides service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services, and assisting the surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs. - Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call once per week and every 6th weekend.

7 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
