Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of OR experience is required.

Unit Details: - Common cases include high-volume ortho including total joints, general, gyn, peds, and eyes. - Cardiac cases are performed on the unit, but travelers will not be assigned to those cases. Cardiac cases include open heart, carotid endarterectomies, and TAVRs. - Uses Cerner Surginet.

Shift & Scheduling: - 8-hour shifts with variable start times; manager makes the schedule. - One weekend of call per month and 1 call night per week; 30-minute call response time. - Holidays are only worked in emergencies.

Special Requests: - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
