Mortgage Warehouse Funding Specialist
Location: Orlando, FL (onsite)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.42/hour
• Monday – Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
ROLE IMPACT: The Mortgage Warehouse Funding Specialist ensures the accuracy, tracking, and integrity of collateral files supporting warehouse lending operations. This role safeguards loan documentation, supports funding timelines, and reduces risk exposure through precise review and control processes. Success is defined by timely file processing, zero documentation gaps, and consistent adherence to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Review, track, and manage mortgage collateral files to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Audit loan documentation against warehouse lending guidelines and funding requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve missing or deficient documentation
• Maintain detailed records and update loan tracking systems to reflect current file status
• Support funding and post-funding processes to ensure proper collateral control
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in mortgage operations, warehouse lending, loan processing, or collateral control
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review financial and loan documentation accurately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and document management systems
• Core Tools & Systems
• Loan origination systems (LOS)
• Document imaging and tracking platforms
• Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Email and internal workflow systems
Preferred Skills
• Understanding of mortgage compliance and regulatory guidelines
• Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
