Job Description
WorkSource is seeking Report Writers for a Client in the Lowell area. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various laboratory functions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to research and development projects. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay Rate - Positions are temp to hire. Starting pay is $18/hr
Shift 6am-2:30pn
Shift - 2pm - 10:30pm

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Computer skills required
Excel and Outlook experience required
This position is report writing so must have excellent computer and typing skills.
The laboratory assistant works with our senior staff to process lab samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results. Will Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. As directed follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. As instructed examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case. Communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed. Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

Responsibilities
- Perform required testing on product
- Collect data, enter findings into computer system
- Maintain compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) standards.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
