CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Belleview Valley Nursing Home is looking to add a few more CNA's to our team.

Pay is negotiable upon experience. Must be willing to rotate weekends and work some holidays.

Responsibilities of the CNA:

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist residents with mobility, positioning, and transferring using proper techniques.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with LPNs, RNs, and other staff to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
• Uphold resident dignity, independence, and rights in all interactions.

Qualifications of the CNA:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Missouri
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Dependable with strong attention to detail and time management skills
