Box Truck- Warehouse Worker

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods along designated routes
• Load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Ensure timely deliveries by following planned routes and adjusting for traffic or unforeseen delays
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during delivery appointments
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation accurately
• Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, moving items, and organizing stock
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to safety protocols throughout your shift

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus
• Experience in warehouse operations, including heavy lifting and moving items safely
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and a valid driver’s license suitable for operating a box truck or similar vehicle
• Hands-on experience with forklift operation and pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages repeatedly and working in various weather conditions

• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner
• Load and unload vehicle
• Collect on unpaid orders and shipments
• Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials

​Qualifications:

• Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
• Current DOT physical
• Clean driving record and copy from local police station
• Current Driver's License
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline-oriented
