7. Security Guard - Night Shift

A distribution center in Clifton NJ is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for a Night Shift Security Guard position. This position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM and is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company property during evening operations.

Responsibilties: Monitor and control access to the facility during the night shift by verifying visitors, employees, and deliveries, conducting routine patrols, maintaining security logs, and reporting suspicious activity or safety concerns while ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous security, loss prevention, or related experience preferred

Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills

Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately to security incidents and emergencies

Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to maintain accurate records and incident reports

Ability to follow company policies and security procedures

Professional demeanor and customer service skills

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the facility for extended periods

Ability to work the scheduled night shift (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM)

Basic English communication skills required
