Job Description
Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing organization in Franklin, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, from recruitment and employee relations to benefits administration and strategic HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can partner with management, support employees, and help drive organizational success through effective HR practices.
$85K - $95K/yr (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to anticipate workforce needs and support organizational growth and change.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
- Conduct engaging and effective new hire orientation programs.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including new enrollments, open enrollment, terminations, and reconciliation activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, investigations, and payroll-related matters.
- Provide HR analytics and reporting, including headcount, overtime, compensation, and workforce metrics.
- Conduct internal investigations and assist with employee relations matters.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and appreciation events.
- Administer leave programs including FMLA, disability, and workers' compensation claims.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and personnel files.
- Partner with Finance regarding payroll, benefits reconciliation, and staffing-related matters.
- Manage and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring accurate processing of employee data and employment changes.
- Handle employment verifications, unemployment claims, and state and federal compliance requests.
- Coordinate return-to-work programs and manage workers' compensation claims to resolution.
- Assist with HR policy development and implementation of employee-focused initiatives.
- Coordinate and support safety, compliance, and emergency response training.
- Participate in internal and external audits, including HR, payroll, benefits, ISO, and compliance audits.
- Contribute to strategic HR and operational projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, positive, and resourceful approach to employee and management interactions.
- Experience working with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel as needed.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, forklifts, and elevated noise levels.
- Willingness to travel, work occasional weekends, or meet other business-related scheduling requirements.
