General Laborer

Position: General Laborer
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor Associates to support daily production and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for assisting with machine area maintenance, material handling, and general facility upkeep to help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cut mattress wire using hand tools such as pliers
• Clean and maintain production and machine work areas
• Blow down machinery and equipment to remove debris and maintain cleanliness
• Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Dispose of scrap materials and maintain organized workspaces
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
• Support production operations with additional labor tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to safely use hand tools and perform repetitive tasks
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Strong attention to workplace safety and cleanliness
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facility environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
• Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and changing temperatures
• Safety equipment may be required depending on assigned tasks
