Modern Home Management provides discreet, proactive maintenance and property care for luxury estates throughout Northern California. We help homeowners protect and preserve exceptional residences through preventative maintenance, expert oversight, and early issue detection.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine estate inspections
- Complete repairs and maintenance work with a strong commitment to quality
- Troubleshoot and maintain residential systems
- Monitor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, lighting, and related systems
- Perform minor carpentry, drywall, painting, hardware installation, and finish work
- Identify maintenance concerns and recommend proactive solutions
- Coordinate with vendors and specialty contractors when needed
- Document findings and communicate recommendations clearly
- Maintain organized tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas
- Use company software to manage tasks, schedules, and project updates
- Represent Modern Home Management professionally in clients’ homes
- Travel throughout the Bay Area to service multiple properties
Qualifications

- Approximately 5+ years of experience in residential maintenance, ideally including high-end homes
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, and general home systems
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of maintenance and repair tasks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, digital calendars, mobile apps, and work order systems
- Experience with estate or property management software is a plus
- Interest in learning and adapting to new technology platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- Professional and respectful approach when working with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving history
- Ability to successfully complete a background check

Compensation
($62,400–$93,600 annually) depending on experience, technical expertise, certifications, and qualifications.
