Maintenance Technician | Up to $45/hr | Frederick, MD

Every other week, you get a 3 day weekend. Built into the schedule.

That's what the 2/2/3 rotation gives you: work 2, off 2, work 3, off 2, work 2, off 3, and repeat. Half your weekends are three days long, and you'll never work more than 3 nights in a row.

The opportunity:

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of a growing food manufacturing facility in Frederick, MD that's expanding its production capacity. They need experienced maintenance technicians to keep automated production lines running on nights.

The details:

• Schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 2/2/3 rotation
• Pay: $30 to $45 per hour depending on experience and skill level
• Advancement: Three tier program (Mechanic I, II, III) tied to skills, not tenure
• Relocation: A relocation package is available for those who need it, structured as a sign on bonus
• Benefits: Full medical, 401(k), and PTO starting at 104 hours per year
  

What you'll actually do:

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V three phase electrical systems on production equipment
• Diagnose PLC issues (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and bring lines back up fast
• Work on VFDs, servos, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and packaging equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work in the CMMS
• Partner with operators and your shift lead to keep the lines moving
  

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food, beverage, packaging, pharma, automotive, or chemical all welcome)
• Strong electrical AND mechanical skills, this is a true electro mechanical role
• Hands on PLC troubleshooting experience (reading ladder logic, finding the fault)
• Comfortable working independently on nights and owning your equipment
• Production urgency mindset
