Poultry Production Workers

WorkSource is looking for employees to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant near Rusten, Monroe, LA Area. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat cutting and a strong understanding of food safety protocols. As a production employee working on a Debone line, you will be responsible for efficiently removing bones from various cuts of meat while adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.

Duties

• Perform deboning tasks on various types of meat, ensuring precision and quality.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety throughout the production process.
• Utilize knife skills effectively to achieve optimal cuts and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in packaging finished products for distribution.
• Monitor equipment and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.

Experience

• Previous experience in meat cutting or food processing is preferred.
• Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
