Shop Helper

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helpers for clients in and around the Houston, TX area must have at least 2 years of shop or manufacturing experience.

• The ideal candidate will assist with disassembling equipment
• Cleaning and preparing parts
• Sandblasting, painting, and supporting various shop operations as needed.
• Ability to work in all weather elements and work in a physically labor intensive environment.
• Position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and reliability.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm w/ 30 min lunch

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble small parts and components
• Wash, clean, and prepare parts for repair or refurbishment
• Perform sandblasting and painting of parts and equipment
• Utilize basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in other areas of the shop as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
• Report to work on time and maintain dependable attendance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of shop, manufacturing, or industrial experience
• Previous painting experience required
• Experience with sandblasting preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift
