Job Title: Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Are you a detail oriented and organized person with experience navigating in a warehouse setting?

We are a distribution company-based Cincinnati, OH looking for an immediate hire. We import specialty stationery and fine writing products from over a dozen different countries including Germany and Japan and provide exclusive distribution for multiple brands. We are looking for a skilled operator to support our growing business.

This job is ideal for someone with an operational mindset who can conduct essential business as part of a small team. Daily activities involve picking, packing and shipping orders, some small in volume, some quite large. We process orders for several hundred accounts across the country so attention to detail is a must-have skill.

Role Responsibilities and Duties

• Handling warehouse stock with care to avoid damages
• Picking of products and preparing shipments for orders
• Be able to lift heavy items (up to 50lbs) as this job entails lifting on a regular basis
• Receiving shipments regularly checking off items against purchase orders and unpacking pallets
• Counting and organizing inventory
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Processing outgoing shipments to ensure efficient and complete delivery to customers
• Communicate effectively with company employees

Qualifications/Job Requirements

• Ability to excel independently as well as part of a group
• Experience in shipping/receiving and/or warehouse environment (1-2 years)
• Understanding of inventory management
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and online
• Positive and friendly attitude, respectful and self-motivated
• Ability to read and converse in English

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and develop new skills while supporting a growing distributor. Occasional weekend work and occasional business travel.

We are hiring for full time or part time. Hours of operation are between 7:30am – 4:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm Monday – Friday.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $20.00 -$24.00 per hour, based on experience.
