Sanitation Associate – Food Manufacturing / Food Service

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Sanitation Associates in a food manufacturing/food service environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility to ensure food safety, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to company procedures
• Perform routine cleaning of floors, walls, production lines, and food contact surfaces
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning and sanitation
• Follow sanitation schedules and complete required cleaning documentation
• Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools safely and properly
• Remove trash, food waste, and debris from work areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP guidelines, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or sanitation deficiencies to supervisors
• Support production teams as needed to maintain operational efficiency

Requirements

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing and food service environment
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, temperature changes, and production equipment
• PPE may be required, including hairnets, gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing

Schedule & Pay

• 2ND SHIFT
• $16.90/HR
