ProLift Garage Doors of Amarillo is a growing, locally owned company seeking an experienced Commercial Overhead Door Technician with 7+ years of experience to join our small local team as a lead technician. This role involves servicing, repairing, and installing various commercial overhead door systems, while providing exceptional customer service across the Texas Panhandle region. The technician will handle new installations, emergency repairs, and preventative maintenance with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair commercial overhead doors and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial operators, controls, and access systems
- Work on rolling steel doors, sectional doors, dock equipment, and other commercial door types
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional appearance
- Handle commercial door components safely and efficiently
- Operate independently within a small team setting with regional travel
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial overhead door service experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training in door systems or related fields
- Experience with commercial door installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- Familiarity with rolling steel doors, sectional doors, and dock equipment
- Strong customer service skills
