Job Summary
We’re looking to hire a hard-working Janitor to Work 6:30am-11:30am 2 days a week Sat and Sunday, who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing and disinfecting restrooms, and emptying trash, following a specific deep cleaning schedule once the operational cleaning of the business is complete. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. They show up on time and don't frequently call off.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
- Clean windows, supply restrooms, And disinfect restrooms well.
- Maintain drains by pouring enzyme cleaner once a week into them
- Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
- Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
- Let Manager know when running low on supplies
- Follow specific 14 day deep cleaning schedule an hour each day after the Operational cleaning is completed.
- Wipe tables and stools down
- Use Auto floor once a week or as needed.
- Take out carboard
- Follow instructions properly
Qualifications
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- Excellent stamina and physical health
- Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass background check
