Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Machine Shop Assembler to support manufacturing operations at its Alamo, Tennessee facility. This role involves assembling, cleaning, and handling components used in the production of electrical bushings while ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and clean machine shop components used in bushing manufacturing.
- Operate and work with standard and specialized hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Perform assembly tasks using workstations, process equipment, cranes, computer-controlled systems, and custom fixtures.
- Inspect components and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training for new equipment, processes, and production methods.
- Perform repetitive assembly operations while meeting production schedules and deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment and comply with all company safety procedures.

- Porcelain components and flanges
- Top terminals and spring assemblies
- Lead solder paste and related manufacturing materials
- Industrial oils, inks, and specialty production materials
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision while contributing to a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, machine shop, or industrial experience.
- Experience working with hand tools, production equipment, and mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and manufacturing procedures.
