Salary: $150,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance + Temporary Housing
Position Summary:
As our Stamping Operations Leader, you will be the linchpin in revolutionizing our stamping processes and systems. This is an opportunity to be a Huge Contributor and Get Noticed FAST!
Your role is instrumental in devising and implementing strategies that redefine industry standards for precision and efficiency. With your extensive expertise in Tool & Die, adeptness in leading cross-functional teams, and a sharp focus on eradicating inefficiencies, you will be the driving force of our continuous quest for excellence. Key Responsibilities:
· Develop People and Mentor Staff.
· There are 6 Direct Reports for this Position
· Lead all Operations in the Stamping Shop
· Coach and Mentor the Tool & Die Team
· Understanding of GD&T is a Plus to Read and Understand CAD
· Lead Activities for Transfer Tools
· Equipment the Stamping Team to be Efficient
· Provide Dies that are Ready for Production
· Manage the Repair or Manufacture Parts to Maintain Production Tooling
· Manage the Maintenance for Tooling
· Other Job Requirements as Assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
· Demonstrated experience in Tool & Die and Stamping Operations
· 6 - 10 Years Experience in Tool & Die, in a Tool & Die Manufacturing Environment
· Knowledge of Best Practices for New Product Launch, Die Maintenance and Corrective Action Measures
· A two-year post high school diploma / certificate in machining, tooling journeymen, or similar trade and two years of relevant experience, OR a high school diploma and minimum 6 to 10 years of experience.
· Strong written / verbal communication skills.
· Ability to read blueprints.
· Thorough knowledge of tool room machines, inspection, measuring and troubleshooting techniques.
· Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment is a Plus+
