Apartment Leasing Agent (Tax Credit)

We are seeking an experienced Tax Credit Leasing Agent to join a thriving multifamily community. If you have a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping residents find their next home, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct apartment tours and effectively present community features and amenities
• Process rental applications and verify eligibility for affordable housing programs
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Tax Credit), HUD, and Fair Housing regulations
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing documentation
• Respond to leasing inquiries and follow up with prospective residents
• Assist with resident retention, lease renewals, and move-in processes
• Support occupancy goals through professional sales and marketing efforts

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment leasing experience required
• Tax Credit/LIHTC experience required
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with Yardi, OneSite, ResMan, AppFolio, or similar property management software preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Professional, customer-focused attitude
