Senior Windows Systems Administrator

Position Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator with strong Active Directory and Domain Administration experience to lead a Windows Server Domain Upgrade project. The consultant will be responsible for upgrading the current Active Directory environment from Windows Server 2019 to Windows Server 2025 and supporting related infrastructure modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Active Directory Domain and Forest upgrades from Windows Server 2019 to Windows Server 2025.
• Build and configure 5 new Domain Controllers using VMware.
• Perform FSMO role transfers and Domain Controller migrations.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, Organizational Units (OUs), and Group Policies (GPOs).
• Support Kerberos authentication, Certificate Authority (CA), and Windows DNS administration.
• Conduct testing and validation in Development environments before Production deployment.
• Create custom scripts and automate administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and ITS teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Active Directory administration in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• Strong experience with:
