Location: La Mesa, CA
Pay: $25–$28/hour (DOE)
⏰ Hours: 15–25 hours per week, with additional hours available during school breaks

About Us

We are a warm, active, family-oriented household seeking a dependable, nurturing, and organized individual to join our family team. This hybrid role combines childcare, household support, and family assistant responsibilities.

We have two wonderful boys, ages 7 and 9, and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, takes initiative, and helps create a calm, structured, and positive home environment.

Schedule

School-Year Schedule

Monday: 1:00 PM – 6:30/7:00 PM
Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 6:30/7:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Additional Hours

• Possibly Two Saturdays per month (morning or afternoon)
• Occasional Sunday mornings or afternoons
• Increased hours available during Holidays, Summer, Spring, and Winter Breaks

Childcare Responsibilities

✔️ Support daily routines and transitions

✔️ Assist with homework and school projects

✔️ Encourage reading and educational activities

✔️ Plan engaging activities such as crafts, games, and outdoor play

✔️ Promote kindness, responsibility, and independence

✔️ Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment

Household Support

✔️ Laundry, folding, and organization

✔️ Dishes and kitchen upkeep

✔️ Sweeping, vacuuming, and light mopping

✔️ General tidying and household organization

✔️ Keeping children's areas clean and organized

✔️ Assisting with occasional family errands and projects

Requirements

• Prior nanny or childcare experience required

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Clean driving record

• Non-smoker

• Minimal personal phone use while supervising children

• Ability to pass a background check if requested

• Excellent references

A Few Additional Notes

Mom is very hands-on and actively involved with both the children and household. This role is a team effort, with childcare and household responsibilities shifting naturally throughout the day depending on the family's needs.
