Direct Care Worker

The Direct Care Worker provides essential support and care to elderly individuals and persons with disabilities, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being under direct supervision. This role involves personal care, medication assistance, and regular client monitoring to enhance the quality of life for those served. The position often requires flexibility with day, rotating, and night shifts, including local travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Administer medications as directed
• Monitor clients’ health and behavior
• Support daily living activities such as meal preparation and mobility

• Provide transport assistance for local travel to client homes
