Location: Howard Lake, MN
Compensation: $22.75–$23.70 per hour depending on shift – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st & 2nd shifts | Monday–Friday

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Truss Assemblers for a building materials/manufacturing company in Howard Lake, MN. In this role, you’ll assist with assembling roof and floor trusses in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Truss Assembler:

• Pick connector plates according to job orders and size specifications
• Lift and lay out lumber onto build tables
• Nail jig blocks to tables and hammer connector plates into place
• Remove finished trusses from jigs, stack materials, and clear jig blocks
• Unload, label, and band completed trusses

What You Need to Bring to the Truss Assembler Role:

• 6+ months of experience working in a heavy manufacturing position within the last year
• Previous experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and work on your own when needed
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn on the job
• No prior truss or manufacturing experience required – entry-level candidates welcome
