Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 1 year of ER experience and a Maine or Compact RN license.
Details
- Night shift position: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Emergency Department setting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active ME or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of ER/Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Two professional references within the past year required, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse — peer references are not accepted
- Full SSN required for consideration
- Valid Driver's License required
- Flu vaccination required for clearance to start (medical exemptions only, subject to facility approval)
Additional Information
- Candidates must have a permanent address 100+ miles South/Southwest of Bangor, ME to be eligible — candidates residing 100+ miles North are considered on a case-by-case basis with AVP and VP of Nursing approval
- No previous permanent employment at any Northern Light Health Hospital
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration
