Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves providing technical support and patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring the safe operation of equipment, and collaborating with physicians to monitor patient conditions. The position requires adherence to hospital protocols and active participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with hours from 6:45 AM to 7:17 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent certification, current Tennessee state licensure, at least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cath Lab procedures and familiarity with cardiac catheterization equipment
- Additional Information: Cath Lab Tech is responsible for providing technical and patient support and patient care, communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition, assists physicians during procedures, operates all equipment safely and correctly, assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for cases, and participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
